Our brothers and sisters have a right on us to give them sincere advice on any issues in which they may need help or issues in which they they ask us directly for help. It is important to note that the following questions have been answered by those seeking an Islamic perspective on specific issues. People of varying faiths, belief systems and even other Muslims may approach similar questions from a multitude of perspectives and these differences should be respected.

These answers were given based on a critical understanding of normative Islam as defined by the Qur'an and exemplified by the practices of the last prophet of Islam-Muhammad peace be upon him. This understanding seeks to preserve the goals of the shariah and the practices of the prophet peace be upon him within a contemporary context and with an understanding of islamic jurisprudence.
